Here is episode four of season two of Rocket Lasso live! In these live streams I take questions about Cinema 4D and motion graphics from the live chat of YouTube and Twitch and attempt to answer as many as I can, the best I can. Blast off!

Morphing A Lathe and Passing Through a Noise Based Material
00:02:42 Apparently splines can not be morphed, but we used several Fields to slice down the object and create a simple material that the mesh can pass through.
“Merry Christmas”
Artist: Roger Kilimanjaro

Infinite Falling Blocks.
00:32:05 I think we come up with a clever solution for making this infinite loop. Some Fields too!
Some Falling Blocks in Processing
Artist: Étienne Jacob

Inflating Morphs with Fields
01:04:26 Two major parts we tackle here. Changing spheres into more complex shapes via Morph Deformer. Then faking a swap between two unrelated models via crossfading the materials.
“BBC Two New Idents”
Artist: BUCK

Animating a Tesseract
01:39:18 Using a few ideas from earlier we make a perfect-looking Tesseract! Didn’t take the path I thought we would at all. Fun.
“We’re officially in the future, make the impossible possible.”
